FOHBC Story Sheds Light on American Bottle

We certainly appreciate the FOHBC’s premier magazine, Bottles and Extras doing this article on us. The writer, Steve Abbott has done numerous stories for them and when he asked about doing one on American Bottle, I said, “heck yea, we need all the publicity we can get.” So if you get a chance check it out, it chronicles the initial idea for ABA and explains how we got where we are today. We also want to thank Martin Van Zant and Ferdinand Meyer for the outstanding layout and design and their never ending contributions to the hobby. To subscribe to Bottles and Extras and receive six great issues each year for only $40 contact Elizabeth Meyer at [email protected] or call 713-504-0628. The magazine has never been better and is full of interesting articles on digging and stories involving the bottle hobby itself. Of course it also contains a For Sale section and a load of other information with beautiful pictures of some of your favorite antique bottles. For only $40, that’s the price of an unembossed medicine, with very little whittle. Seriously, you’ll be glad you did. You’ll also be helping to support the FOHBC and their continuing effort to publicize this wonderful hobby.
