I dug, among others a blue brown stout, iron or graphite pontil marked bottle.
Either iron or graphite pontil, i don’t which. It is marked Union Glass Works Philad.
on one side as well as Brown Stout, on the other side it is marked J.CORWELL there is also
a green pontilled Corwell from the same place. Both bottles have applied tops and are in
good shape except for some scratches from being dug and buried. There is also a beautiful
brown amber Star Spring Co. Saratoga N Y, applied top and an x on the bottom (mold mark).
This bottle is beautiful lots of bubbles and whittle marks, no dings or scratches. I would like
to what they are worth C.Z. Lawrence Master Glass Painter.
My blue soda is the same color as your bottle #405, iron pontil with a different applied top, also different marking. Marked J. CORWELL on the front, and Union Glass Works, and BROWN STOUT on the back.
I wonder what it might be worth in one of your auctions CZ, A.M.G.P.
